Dr. Luis Herrera is the Section Head, Division of Thoracic Surgery and Medical Director Thoracic Care Center at the Orlando Health Cancer Institute. 

Dr. Herrera specializes in general thoracic surgery with a focus on minimally invasive thoracic surgery, robotic thoracic surgery for lung cancer and surgery for complex thoracic malignancies. He has expertise in robotic approaches in thoracic surgery including robotic assisted lobectomy and esophageal surgery. He is also the co-director of the Advanced Robotic Surgery Center at Orlando Health.
