Dr. Dizman works as an internal medicine resident at the Yale School of Medicine, Yale New Haven Hospital and as a remote post-doctoral fellow at the City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center. Under the mentorship of Dr. Pal, Dr. Dizman’s focuses on identification of clinical, genomic- and microbiome-related correlates of response to therapies in genitourinary cancers, especially renal cell carcinoma. Dr. Dizman planned and led two randomized controlled interventional trials demonstrating gut microbiome modulation via dietary interventions and live bacterial product supplements.
