Claudio Granata, MD, is a pediatric radiologist with a long-standing special interest in radiation protection. Presently, he is the Head of the Department of Paediatric Radiology at Institute for Maternal and Child Health - IRCCS “Burlo Garofolo” – Trieste (Italy), President of the Working Group on Radiation Protection of the Italian Society of Medical and Interventional Radiology (SIRM), Chair of the CT&Dose Task Force of the European Society of Paediatric Radiology (ESPR), and Lead of the Paediatric Imaging Working Group of ESR EuroSafe Imaging.
